We follow a simple seven process from start to finish so you can relax and enjoy your big day in the Twin Cities area. Here’s a breakdown of each step so you know what to expect.
Step 1: Inquire
The first step is to inquire! Here we’ll collect some basic information from you (no need to have all the details sorted out at this stage – we’re just looking for a start point!) in an effort to understand how we can best suit your needs! You can do this on our website, or by calling us!
Step 2: The Proposal
The second step is an initial proposal. We like to discuss your specific needs and vision. Our team will develop a personalized proposal outlining our pricing and services for your big event. That way, you can determine whether Deco Catering is the right fit to assist with your event planning. Our goal is to be straightforward and clear and build a trusting relationship with every client we work with. Keep in mind this proposal is just a jumping off point and can be customized and modified further to fit your budget needs.
Step 3: Tasting
Once a proposal is in place, we invite each client to our kitchen for a complimentary tasting. Here, you can sample our handcrafted entrees, side items, and desserts of your choosing. The goal is to build your custom event menu that tastes good and reflects your preferences and style. Our catering services always include fresh ingredients, a variety of entrees, and options that cater to special dietary needs.
Step 4: Booking
Once you’ve picked your menu items, we like to make everything official. At this point in the process, we will secure your date and time and book the event in pen and on the calendar. Once your contract is signed, your caterer is booked. You can rest assured that your guests will be served delicious food at your special event. This frees up time to focus on other aspects of your planning process.
Step 5: Finalizing Your Plans
We like to touch base with each client at least 15 days before the big day. At this meeting, we’ll discuss all the finishing touches and details to make your event run smoothly and successfully. That way, we’re all on the same page about expectations for your celebratory event. We’ll ask for a final headcount, verify all details we have for food, linens and other rentals, and gather any other important details that you want to provide.
Step 6: The Big Day
On the big day, you won’t have to lift a finger. Our professional chefs, leads and servers will prep, serve, and clean up the food so you and your guests can focus on having fun. Step 7: Follow-Up
